What is the current concentration of radioactive cesium in edible wild plants in Fukushima Prefecture?

About 60 items of wild plants and mushrooms in Fukushima Pref. have been monitored, and products which exceed reference value are decreasing.

  • Wild plants and mushrooms planted or harvested for sale or shipment are monitored to confirm their safety.
  • About 60 items of wild plants and mushrooms in Fukushima Pref. have been monitored, and products which exceed reference value of Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare are decreasing.
  • As a result of monitoring, 19 items are restricted shipping containing bed-grown shitake mushroom, wild mushroom, bamboo-shoot, etc.
