Radioactivity Dynamics in River System
(2015)
QHow is the concentration of radioactive cesium in seawater and marine sediment changing?
AIn Fukushima Prefecture, the concentration of radioactive cesium in seawater and marine sediment was high just after the accident. But after that it has been decreasing.
The concentration of radioactive cesium in sea water(upper figures) and marine sediment(lower figures) has been decreasing. Similar results are reported by other institutes (e.g., NRA, 2017).
