※1 The legally required activity concentration (60,000 Bq/L) is defined as “set in the following way. Suppose that average radiation dose rate per year becomes 1 mSv when one continues to drink about 2 liters of water with certain concentration every day from birth to age 70, the concentration of the water is set to be the announcement concentration.”.

※2 Guidance level described in “Guidelines for drinking-water quality” (4th edition) by WHO (10,000 Bq/L) is defined as “the concentration that would result in an personal dose of 0.1 mSv if that concentration of water were drunk for one year.”.

Activity concentrations of radionuclides other than tritium (39 nuclides to be analyzed)

As a result of the analysis for ALPS treated water, radionuclides other than tritium (39 nuclides) were confirmed not to be significantly present.
