Quality control of analysis

In order to ensure quality-assured and reliable analysis, the appropriate management is conducted from the following three perspectives.

①Organization (human resource): Document management such as procedure manuals, technical certification of analysis technicians, and so on.

②Equipment and instruments: Appropriate calibration, inspections, etc. for equipment and instruments to be used.

③Analysis methods: Confirmation of the validity of the analytical methods to be adopted, etc.

As part of these activities, the Analysis Section of the Analytical Department of the Okuma Analysis and Research Center has been working on ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for tritium analysis. The accreditation was received on February 13, 2024, and, a certificate of accreditation was awarded by the accreditation body, PJLA* on March 29.

The ISO/IEC17025 accreditation indicates that the company has established a quality control system based on international standard and that the reliability of the analysis results has been internationally recognized.

We will continue to strive for reliable analysis of nuclides other than tritium by using the same or similar methods.
